have you ever felt a longing so deep,
that every single night you cry yourself to sleep?
praying that God will show himself to you,
and you'll know in your heart that you believe he is true.
always hoping, and dreaming, and wishing,
that someday you'll find what it is that you're missing.
everyone says that you'll get through,
but they don't realize where you're trying to get to.
you know that you're in over your head,
another day without God is a day that you dread.
sometimes you feel so lost.
and you just can't find your way back home.
