When Hope Is Lost

A poem... by me. :)

The world came crashing down for you that day,

Simplicity fell,

With sorrow it's replaced.

But I'm here for you,

When hope is lost,

When life turns its back on you.
I'll be here,

With open ears

Ready to hear,

Just how life's been treating you.

Eh. Not my best work, not my worst. Inspired by an amazing friend of mine... whom I love dearly. I love all of my friends dearly... ;) This has just not been my week. I've been feeling like I could break down every single day. But God's carrying me along. He's getting me through tomorrow into the days of complete peace and joy. It's a journey, let me tell you, getting to those days. But I'm working. I'm trying hard to get there. I'm so glad I don't have to do it on my own... I couldn't do it on my own. Without God... I'd already have given up. I wouldn't be anywhere near peace and joy. But I've got God.

God is good, all the time.

All the time, God is good.

Life, on the other hand, isn't quite so wonderful.
